One beacon reaches your whole list.

Send it to three friends or thirty. Their phones buzz with a notification, not a full-screen call. The first to answer connects with you, and your beacon stops for everyone else.

From your pocket to theirs.

Pick a list, like Everyone or Saturday crew, and hold the button.

Their phones buzz.

A notification, not a ringing call screen. Easy to answer, easy to ignore when they’re busy.

You’re on a one-on-one voice call. Your beacon quietly stops for everyone else.

Why not just text the group?

Text the group chat: “Anyone around?” gets two thumbs-up and a reply an hour later. Nobody calls.
Call one friend: You have to guess who’s free, and you usually guess wrong.
Start a group call: Now it’s a meeting. Half the people didn’t want to be there.
Send a beacon: Everyone gets asked, nobody gets put on the spot, and you end up talking to someone who actually wants to talk.

Questions

Who gets my beacon?

Only the list you pick. You make your own lists, like Everyone, Saturday crew, or Family, and choose one each time you send.

Does it ring like a phone call?

No. Your friends get a notification that says you’re free to talk. Their phone vibrates if their settings allow it, but it never takes over the screen.

What happens when two people answer?

The first one connects with you. The beacon stops for everyone else on the list.

Is it video?

No, just voice. Talk while you walk, cook, or clean up.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Beacon is in free beta on iPhone through TestFlight, and on Android.
